Das Eis Ice is in pretty good shape with a cake approach right now. The road has a few ruts but is still passable with a suby. Hardly any snow till you get to the opening after the switchbacks, 1.25 hour approach? Enjoy!

Das Eis Ice
Das Eis Ice is still fat as of Dec 30. The approach is a bit longer now if you park on Bruffey. I was wishing I had a mountain bike for the fist 3/4 mile which is bare, but you cant park at the 63 ranch. Avy conditions were relatively good considering the whole gully has already ripped. Looked like a bomb went off at the base.
