Went up to responsible today. There was a 4 inch windslab in the gully, but nothing slid even when using horizontal rappeling technique. Responsible itself is in great shape.
Unfortunately, once I rapped back to the base of avy gulch my poles were missing (blue twist tightening ski poles, I think they might have been rental poles the shop was selling or something so they may or may not have an "alpine experience" sticker on them). I'd like to think that it was just some kind of misunderstanding but reguardless someone carried my poles off. I'd like 'em back if at all possible.
